Hi! Would you ever give a fill before the 6 week period? Let's say, for example, one of your patients was a couple of weeks out and had done REALLY well pre-op but now is able to eat anything and is terrified that she's going to gain all of her weight back before her first fill?? Even though she's working out and following all of the rules? What if she begged and cried? Just curious...

First of all it's only 5 weeks, not 6 weeks, and you can beg all ya want but you ain't gettin no saline from me. If you get a slipped band because everything hasn't healed yet you'll be sorry! C

Somehow, I knew that I'd get a big resounding "NO" on that one. However, I didn't know an early fill could lead to a slipped band. Interesting... I am trying like heck to keep the "3 and a half week liquid-diet loss" off. I only hope I can manage to keep the majority of it off. I didn't starve on that liquid diet for nothin!

early fill = possible vomiting = pulled stitches that haven't healed yet = slipped band Just use "The Little Engine That Could" as a role model... I THINK I CAN! I THINK I CAN! I THINK I CAN! C
