I'm falling apart right now. Just let me know I've made the right decision. 
calm my 
nerves. What can I expect over the next week. I feel like I'm getting married and have cold feet.

Here's my shoulder... careful though don't poke yer eye out on the bones! They aren't as big as they used to be.. but they are stronger.
YOU ARE making the right decision, if you haven't thought of handcuffing yourself to your house so you can't leave, then it's the right decision. Don't even dwell on the what-if's.. think about when you CAN enjoy life again!
Have you had the weird dreams yet? Or are you past those?
Have you gone into the nesting phase.. I know you said you didn't like to, but it is something to keep you and your mind busy and on other things, instead of focusing entirely on your surgery. I took the week off before surgery, got things in order around the house, had some post-op supplies, food for my kidlet so he could just heat it up w/o me worrying about what he was eating.
These are the things you'll be encountering in the next week is my guess and from what all others have said.
Have some :wiggle: SF jello there, broths.. SF popsicles... lotsa water.. those are the things most needed at first.

Yes, I had some strange dreams last night. OMG! I had to cancel my counseling session because I had to pick up my son from football lifting today. Maybe I shouldn't have come to work. My supervisor is meeting with me on Wed. She's the biggest ***** I know. Between surgery and her I'm a basket case.
I did go to Gordon's Food Service and get some pizzas, pizza pockets, sausage, chicken and other easy things for them to make while I'm in the hospital.
