Scar question/ OSU Surgeons

I have another OSU program question....I had breast reconstruction surgery after a double radical mastectomy from treatment for breast cancer and now I have five large scars, all at least 10 inches long from my previous surgeries. Any chance Dr. Needleman (I may have Mikami or Cook)will open up one of the ones I have rather than add another one to my already Frankenstein body? Problem is that I understand that WLS incisions are usually vertical, breastbone to navel and all mine are horizontal and of course none are smack dab in the middle of my stomach. They are all waist level and breast level. I know the scar should be the least of my worries, but I'm pretty much butchered already and dont want another scar if I dont have to have it. Thanks...

This sounds like a question only the surgeon will be able to answer since he will be the one actually doing the surgery. I had a scar from a previous (vertical) incision and Dr. Cook used that as his guide for my RNY. Georgeann
