If I can ask...What made you get into this field? You seem so committed to helping us MO people....Was it something you always wanted to do or something that you discovered after you were a surgeon..There are a lot of bariatric surgeons out there but I don't see the passion in them that you have...

Well I first got in the field because I was a general surgeon and didn't find the laparoscopic procedures challenging enough, so I decided to learn how to do laparscopic weight loss surgery. What began as a technical challenge quickly faded into awe for the procedure in terms of the dramatic life changes it gave to people. I can't imagine a field where one could help people more. Dr. C

As one of Dr.Cs fan club members, Are we the luckiest people in the world that he went into this? You saved my life,litterly

Dr C is the greatest, he makes everyone feel special. I do not know of another Dr or office that cares for patients more than they do. He takes time out of his busy day to answer questions even for those whom have not seen him. You coul not find a more caring, compasionate Dr alive. Thank-you for being there for all of us! Shelia
