Hernia & tummy tuck?

I have read many posts where people have claimed that if you have a Hernia removed from your stomach, that they will do a tummy tuck too. Has this actually happened to anyone? I have also read several posts saying that this is not the case. Just curious!

I think one of the major things is what your insurance will approve. I too have read post that people who have been trying to get approved for tummy tucks end up finding out they have hernia's and their insurance approves it. I am having a tummy tuck here in August and I have no hernia's but I had to complain 3 months to my doctor to get insurance to approve it. It seems it would depend on what your insurance will cover.
