Repost: I had my six month check-up yesterday

I had my six month visit yesterday. I am down 84 lbs!!! I am so happy and grateful that I was lucky enough to have this surgery and not have any complications. I would do it again in a heartbeat!!! My only concern is hair loss. It seems to be getting worse. I have increased my protein, started taking biotin but it is not helping. I've done Nioxin and when it started getting worse it didn't help at all. My surgeon assured me it will be ending soon. I trust his professional opinion, but as most of you know when you are pulling out handfuls of hair, soon is not quick enough!! Jennifer 264/180/140

Nioxin is the biggest joke. It didnt work for me either. I take 2000 mg.of biotin and I went to get my haircut today. She said she saw a hair or two coming in..Not much and I am ok with it finally. It did stop coming out at least. Good luck and congrats on the weight loss.Love Cindy
