Plastic Surgeons??
I went through OSU and Dr. Buchele. He was great and I had the breast reduction and panniculectomy at the same time. My oxygen level went down just enough that I ended up staying over night buy my recovery was great. I was back to work in three weeks because I was bored out of my mind. His assistant (this is a teaching hospital) did my reduction and she was fantastic. At the time I had MedicalMutual Supermed Plus and had some but not many hoops to jump through. I saw the Dr. in October and surgery was March third so the time lag was not too bad, could have been worse. Good luck, Darla
Hi Connie...First if you can we will be having a support group this month next week at the library on Thursday from 6:30-7:30.
I am having my tummy tuck done with Dr. Buchele on August 11. I consulted with two different plastic surgeons. I also saw Dr. Bivik Shaw who is out of Mt Carmel. When I first went I was looking into breast lift/implant and tummy tucks. My insurance will pay for the tummy tuck and it took we 3 months of complaining to my family doctor to have documenation to send into my insurance and then I was approved.
I really loved Dr. Buchele and what he had to say. Both plastic surgeons I saw had the same view on tummy tucks but different views on breast lifts. Dr. Bivik thought implants were a must....however Dr. Buchele said less is sometimes more and it is easier to increase in size after a breast lift with a small implant if you want then being unsatisfaied with your breast looking like they are overwhelming for your body size. I just felt like Dr. Buchele was a little more cautious and not so rushed to get me moved in and out. The staff their has also been great.
I can live without the breast lift for now til I can pay for it...I can find bra/s that give me that lift....However, the extra belly skin will just make me feel good and feel like another accomplishment!
Hope this helps and don't forget next thursday if you can make it!
