stricture

Well i was told on MOnday i might have a stricture, b/c of the way I've been feeling. I was'nt able to get food down w/o it getting stuck , even my liquids would sit in my thro and would take a min 2 go down. well today i went in and had a scope. Sure enough i did have a stricture, it just wasnt all the way closed. it didnt take that long, my thro still feels sore. I've lost 32 pounds in just four weeks tomorrow. Still looking for a support group meeting! Love Adrienn

Hey Adrienn, I too had a stricture, actually had to get it stretched twice. Congratulations on your weight loss!

Hello Adrienn, Congrats on your weight loss, sorry to hear about the stricture. I pray your throat feels better. There is a support group at the Barix Clinic on the 1st Tuesday of each month. I had my surgery in Nov '04 have been to one support meeting. If you find out about any other meetings in the Columbus area let me know. Kathryn

Hi Adrienn, Sorry to hear you had a sticture.....that stinks!!! I was at OSU tuesday, I had to have my Greenfield Filter removed, still sore from that!!! 32 pounds, thats wonderful!!! Keep up the good work!!! The next OSU support meeting is the 1st wednesday of Aug, maybe we can plan on meeting there or something!!! Hope your having a great day!! Luv, Tabitha
