Where to start?

Hello, everyone! I have insurance that will cover up to $10K of my procedure. All they are asking for is a letter of medical necessity from the surgeon. I've been to Barix Clinic for a consult (18 mos. ago), and can go back, but I think I'd prefer to find a more affordable surgeon closer to where I live (Cincinnati). Can anyone help? I am so excited to have the procedure done and get started losing this weight once and for all instead of yo-yoing like I've done most of my life. Thanks in advance!

Sarah, I agree with Vickie, Cindy and Melissa! Dr. Curry's Office is the place to start! We traveled almost 3 hours and I think he and his staff are worth every second of it. I like the fact that you get to meet with the entire staff, including Dr. Curry at each and every visit!...and that is before you are even approved! How many other surgeons can say that? They have a great team, I could not have been happier anywhere else! Sounds like it would be local for you...what have you got to lose....besides mega pounds??? Good luck with whomever you choose! I've called several times today and haven't received a reply. How long does it usually take for his office to call back?
