Local Clothing Exchange Programs
Hi,
I have some really nice clothes that are getting to big and would like for them to get to someone who could use them. I also am in need of some smaller sizes myself. I was wondering if there is any local support groups or other programs that does clothing exchanges? I live in Athens and would be willing to go to the Columbus area. I thought I read on one of the boards about a place in Reynoldsburg that did a WLS clothing exchange out of their home but now I'm having trouble finding where I read this previously. I know about the clothing exchange on the OH board and will probably do it if I can't find something locally. I would like to be able to see the clothes and make sure they will probably fit before taking them. Thanks for your help.

I apologize that this is off-topic, but there are two Plus-Size consignment shops in Columbus, both called Miss Christie's. I've only been to the one on Westmoor Rd. It's immediately off Broad St.
They'll take your clothes and you buy some, too. I think you establish an account with them. I've only been there a few times. I wish there was a place like that closer to my house.

I have been to Miss Christie's. I have never dropped off clothes, but have bought many of things from there. They are great on prices too. I have been donating my big clothes to Goodwill. They hardly get any plus sized clothing. I plan to shop at second hand stores until I reach my goal. The weight is coming off pretty fast, and if I bought new I would be out of them too quick.
Hugs,
Lisa
