ONE WEEK TO GO !!!!!!

Hi Nancy, I think I would be worried about you if you WEREN'T nervous. My surgery is a week from this Thursday, so I'm pretty nervous too. But, I'm ready. I did my research and feel confident with my decision. I bet you are going to do great! I keep having to remind myself to focus on the long term goal instead of only focusing on immediate comfort and gratification (which is what got me fat in the first place). Oh Denise, that is so true. We are all used to that immediate comfort and there is so much more to the journey than simply reaching your destination. I too have researched and prayed and I feel I'm making the right decision. I've waited so long for a surgery date and it's finally almost here. Hi Nancy, Good luck in your upcoming surgery. Mine is 16 days away. I am not sure if I am more nervous or excited. I think it is excited. I will keep you in my thoughts. Shellie
