About to step off the divingboard

HI! I was going to post asking for information about Dr. Curry who was recommended to me by my GYN, BUT no need to ask if he is a good choice! I am attending a seminar Tuesday night at Deaconness. Thanks for all the helpful info on this message board. I read so much med info and success stories around the web, I feel I've researched the topic so much I could do a seminar. One question to anyone who is a teacher and has had surgery---what time of year did you have your surgery? I know summer would be best but I don't think I can stand to wait a whole year! Thanks bunches!

Karen, I love it when patients come in knowing more than I do about weight loss surgery! It shows they are dedicated to a good outcome. We're having one of our information sessions tomorrow evening at 6pm. If you want to come you're more than welcome - it'd be great for pre-ops to be able to talk to a veteran like yourself. It's in the Goetz building which is the one right next to Deaconess on Straight Street. It's on level B C
