1 year on saturday

I just wanted you all to know I celebrate my one year ann. on sat. Can you believe its been a year Dr.C? 105 lbs and I feel wonderful. Its a rough ride the first 6 months just learning my cute little pouch. I finally know what bite to stop now , and also to eat a little slower. Its like a baby,we learn everyday. Thank you Dr.Curry for helping me live again,and to all your staff,all my friends on this site. I could never had done this without all of you. I feel like I know all of you and I cant wait to meet you in August. Much love to all of you and thank you all,Love Cindy

Congrats Cindy!! You were very instrumental in my decision to travel to Cincinnati. It was the best decision I ever made. I still would have had the surgery, but I would have still been waiting and would not have had the opportunity to have Dr. Curry and his team, which I know, you know, enough can not be said about them. Anyway, I definately thank you for the support and wish you much happiness as you celebrate your anniversary. I hope we get to meet at a support group meeting and I am considering coming down for the regional. I just don't like to go places by myself. MUCH LOVE Sharyn

Congratulations WOW that is so great!! I start this journey on July 11 with Dr. C and his great staff. I am so excited and some scared but ready to start the journey. I am naming my pouch Atticus Finch from my favorite movie To Kill A Mockingbird..that may sound weird but I know I can be good friends with Atticus. Celebrate your great loss and the courage and determination it took to get there. Judi
