Surgery mix up?

I went to middletown Regional for my pre op tests today and they said they show me having surgery on august 31st and when i was at the wish center i watched the nurse put me in the computer for august 2nd now i am freaking are they delaying it and not telling me or could it be a scheduling mistake on the hospitals end??? nobody from the wish center has called to tell me different I am going to call them in the morning has this happend to anyone else? Hi Cindy, I was called by my hospital and given a surgery date of 6/21, but when I went in for PAT on 6/2 (at a different hospital than you), they had my surgery date as 7/21. I told them right then that I was supposed to have it in June. I double checked with the surgeon's office and so did they. Needless to say, I am 2 weeks post-op. Don't delay - call them first thing in the morning to straighten things out! Good Luck! Laura

Well I called my surgeons office this morning and they have confirmation that my surgery is august 2nd at 7:30 am so they are calling the hospital to straighten it out thank god whewww!!! Cindy

Hi Cindy, mix ups do happen. Thank goodness that they got it straighten out for you... I was all preped for my surgery when my surgeon came in and told me that they couldn't do it cause my pregnancy test came back inconclusive... My mom about fainted and so did my husband... My surgery was postponed for a week but it was all straightened out... I also went threw the wish center, they are great....
