Ugh why is it so hard to find a doctor! (Dr. C feel free give me some input)...

I called my insurance company to see if they cover the surgery. They do thank God. I asked them who is considered in the network and all they told me was to call all the doctors 2 hrs north of me and ask them if they take our insurance. Well after some research I found one across the river that takes one but after reading some stories on him I'm not too sure I want to go with him. I much rather drive to cincy and be comfortable with a dr there. So I was wondering if anyone had MCA Administrators insurance. If so what doctor did you have. Apparently MCA isn't even sure who is in the network. Ugh! Thanks, Krista

Kris, you should call Dr. Curry's office and talk to Tracy she is their insurance guru..she knows all.....good luck..Pam

If you're willing to drive two hours west to Cinci, maybe you'd be willing to drive 2 hours north to Columbus? I'm 2 weeks out and I would never hesitate to recommend Barix Clinics in Groveport. In fact, today is my two-week follow-up...hard to believe... I lived in Portsmouth for 6 1/2 years, it's my second home, but I doubt there's a doctor there I'd want to perform Gastric Bypass on me.
