PRAYERS NEEDED FOR GRANDSON . . . .

TO MAKE A LONG DIFFICULT STORY SHORT, I HAVE A STEP GRANDSON WHO IS 2 YRS OLD. HIS MOTHER DOESN'T TAKE CARE OF HIM AT ALL AND I'M SCARED FOR HIS LIFE. SHE'S A ********ER AND I CAN'T GET CUSTODY OF HIM CAUSE HE'S NOT "MY BLOOD" EVEN THOUGH HE'S MY HEART!!! HE'S SO PRECIOUS, SO SMART. WHEN MY SON, HIS STEP DADDY, CARRIED HIS STROLLER UP A HILL FROM THE LAKE WE WERE VISITING, HE STOPPED AND WENT BACK TO HELP DADDY CARRY THE STROLLER, WITHOUT BEING ASKED. HE'S FULL OF KISSES AND LOVE FOR YOU AND GIVES HUGS LIKE THEY WERE CANDY. HIS MOM DOESN'T HOLD HIS HAND WHEN THEY GO OUT WALKING, HE LAGS BEHIND SOMETIMES BY 20 FEET, LOTS OF PEOPEL HAVE TOLD ME THIS. (THEY LIVE ABOUT 50 MILES FROM HERE.) NO AMOUNT OF BEGGING FROM ME TO TAKE BETTER CARE OF HIM WORKS. SHE'S LIVING IN A HOMELESS SHELTER BECAUSE SHE GOT KICKED OUT OF THE APT SHE HAD. IT'S AN "OPPORTUNITY HOUSE" WHERE THEY CAN LIVE FOR A YEAR TO HELP GET ON THEIR FEET AGAIN. I'VE BEEN WITH MY GRANDSON SINCE HE WAS 3 MONTHS OLD AND HE'S CONSIDERED MY GRANDCHILD!!! I LOVE HIM WITH ALL MY BROKEN HEART. WE CAN ONLY BRING HIM HERE TO VISIT FOR 48 HOURS EVERY NOW AND THEN. WOULD YOU PLEASE KEEP HIM IN YOUR PRAYERS AND ASK HIS GUARDIAN ANGEL TO KEEP HER ARMS WRAPPED TIGHTLY AROUND HIM TO PROTECT HIM? THANK YOU, SINCERELY, FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART. HUGS, SUSIE

Oh Susie I know exactly what you are going through....my brother in law and sister in law have 2 girls and a boy and they dont take care of any of them... We have battled with them and the courts and cant do anything... What does it take? a child getting hurt before they will listen... it is a shame... while I was reading your post my heart broke again to know that there are more children out there going through this...I will deffinatly keep you and your family in my prayers and thoughts... god bless

Hi Susie, My heart goes out to you . Having 5 grandkids I would just die worring about them. It makes me sick when mothers dont take care of their kids. Hi Susie, I too use to be in gangs,but the Good Lord brought me out of it! I have 4 kids and I let my mom and brother raise my oldest son Steven(now 18) so that I could continue parting! I do regret it but I know that it was the best thing at the time. I had another child Kristina(14) who suffered because I would leave her with either my mother or friends so that I could go out every other day.But at the age of 23 I gave my life to God! I was in am abusive marriage,and my husband was a heroin addict.But he too recieved the Lord and now we serve him! What I'm trying to say is prayer is the only answer and yes I will be praying for not only the baby but also for the parents. Only God can due changes.God bless you and may God give you strength!
