OT: Happy almost 4th of July everyone!!!

Hi guys! How is everyone this fine holiday weekend? So what is everyone doing tomorrow? Are you going to a picnic or to see fireworks somewhere? We wnt to Red, White and Boom Friday. We plunked down in a parking garage close to the action, set up our tailgate party and partied with our friends. It was really fun! I had never done this before and It will definitely be a tradition from now on. My kids had a ball watching the fireworks go off! Tomorrow I will be having my annual 4th of July Bar B Que. I got some healthy foods for us to have. I found some tip steak that was nice and lean and put together some shish Ka bobs. Before the fireworks I will roll out the Watermelon (only time I buy it each year is for the 4th since my husband hates it) and there will be lots of good company and fun. I was going to go to Cleveland and spend the 4th with my family and watch the fireworks, However last night me and my hubby decided to play hookie from the family and we are going to Lake Logan tomorrow morning renting a boat and having a special picnic. Just me and Him. I am sure I will be seeing fireworks even though they don't let them off at the lake . When I called my Mom today to let her know I just wasn't up to coming to Cleveland, she was very understanding. I even went and got some sunless tanner, and I am going to were a bathing suit tomorrow without the big ol cover up. Tomorrow will be a first for that. My body is not perfect and still not thin, but I have decided I love myself, and I just don't care what anyone else thinks, My hubby likes it. Have a happy and safe 4th. Hugs, Lisa

Whoooo Hooo on the bathing suit Lisa.. You have to believe in yourself and see the goal ahead of you , and then the jiggles dont matter a bit. I know if someone sees me in my suit now they most likely think I am still pretty chunky. But I just keep visualizing my body getting leaner and healthier and to heck with them. I spent a lot of time at Lake Logan as a kid. I was always intrigued by the beautiful blue green water. It was like being in an emereld lake and of course I was the mermaid Queen.. hmmm here I am a day late and a $ short My son finally came home yesterday after being out at his brothers for the past 10 days, so I had someone to talk to again. We rode the bikes downtown, looked around, not much happening there yet, so we came back home, got the van and went and shot some pool. Mr Big Britches ain't so big no more - I told him I'd teach him some day.. Then we came back home and went over to a friends house who was having a party - bunch old neighbors there were knew. Food, pool, everyone but us getting drunk or stoned. See why my friends don't fit no more? Anyways we hung out there for about an hour and then rode downtown again on the bikes.. hung out there till the fireworks were over. Rode that darn bike so much my legs cramped OUCH during the night.
