Q 4 anyone who lives near Akron and has medicaid, healthy families healthy start

Its been a while since I've posted on the board I forgot some of the infformation that I found out when I was on he board. My question is does Akron General Hospital accept the medicaid insurance or do I need to go to university hospital. Akron is only a 1/2 hour away, UH is about an 1 hr away. Also do you know who has the list of things that medicaid will want so I can start getting those items gathered up? Thanks for all your help. Julie

Hi Julie. I went to the seminar at Summa and they do take Medicare but I dont know about medicaid. Give them a call and ask. They are great there. I could have gone anywhere in the state but I chose to go to Summa. They are sincere and helpful. Give them a call. Good luck Bobbi
