Insurance Question

My sister lives in Ohio, she says that she has "state insurance" in Michigan we call it Medicaid. Does Ohio's plan cover WLS???????????

It usually covers it, but it takes along time for the approval. My friend has medicaid, and we both started this journey together last Aug. I have already had my surgery (I have regular insurance) and she's still waiting. Our info was sent in only 2 days apart back in January. I was approved in a week and she still hasn't heard anything.

Hello Laurie, I have both Paramount of Michigan, through my husbands job, and Paramount Advantage, which is for low income families through the state of Ohio. It took less than 24 hours to approve mine. I hope your sisters gets approved soon also. Rocquetta
