When did you post-ops...
HI Jaimee, Good to have you back. I had the hair fall out late. It was not until I was over a year out of surgery. The nutritionist suggested that I take biotein also. She also recommended using ground flax seeds, a tablespoon once a day. I am having great results with this. Hope you find the answer for you. Deb

Hi Jaimee!
Hope you are doing well! I'm feeling good but my hair is very thin, especially on top and around the face. I never had thick hair but could usually coax it into a nice style with some teasing and lots of gel. Now there doesn't seem to BE a "right way" to comb it - the scalp just shines through. My driver's license picture (March 2005) shows soooo much more hair than I have now!
I'm almost 7 months out - the person who does my hair says she "might see a little new growth" at the temples but nowhere else. Wah!
My PCP says as long as I am getting proper nutrition (like my vitamins, etc.), it will grow back when it gets good and ready, and might even look different (curly or something? plaid?) when it re-appears.
So, no good news about the hair but just wanted to say HI!
Hugs,
Kitty B.
