OK ???? let's have some FUN, oHIo!

I want to do something FUN with my WLS family. Those that can or will be interested in coming to the GREATer Toledo area on a Sat/Sun, raise your hand! We can meet at a public spot, such as one of the Parks, and do it Potluck so no one person has a great expense & as a Meet & Greet. I'd like to pick a park where there is something to do also, so that OUR children can play, we can perhaps walk a trail, if'n we want to. Or if you have other idea's PLEASE, please voice them. Now I do NOT care if you are PRE or POST op - I just want to get together with my WLS Family. Ok Dates - ( I want to set this up to do in 3-5 wks) July 9 July 10 July 16 July 17 July 23 July 24 July 30 July 31 Aug 6 Aug 7 I think I got those dates right.. going by brain power and no calendar here... Gosh by then summer will almost be over... as summer goes in Ohio anyways. I know some of us are shy, especially when pre-op, but DO NOT let that stop you, as we have ALL been there, this is a chance to know people as people not just as names on a MB. I really want to do this or something like it. If I get no responses I'm gonna , c'mon now, we don't want that! and I'll never post again (ya right) I will post this weekly to add on people as they say they are interested and who's gonna bring what so we don't have a lot of THIS and no THAT Ok things to bring: Your specialty dish + enough for others. Enough meat for you + yours (family) Drinks for you + yours Attitude - none please we wanna have fun! Camera's Depending on place/change of clothes! I might pick a place w/swimming available. me P/S anyone wanting to come from out of town, I have space or will find a decent/reasonably priced hotel.

Hay Vickie, I think this would be a wonderful thing to do. I know I am really busy with the daycare and five kids of my own but I am sure when ever the majority of the people want to get together I would at least be able to show up and say hello. I am busy the 9, 10, 15, and 16. We will be out of town those weekends and then hopefully I will have a date for surgery after my Dr apt on the 12th. I will keep in touch and see what the others say. Hi Vickie - This sounds like a great idea and lots of fun. I unfortunately would not be able to attend due to my surgery date being right in the mix of that time frame (28 days!!). YEAH!! I would love to attend if you plan this again another time. Have a great day - Stacey

Vicki, I would be there in a heartbeat if my tires werent bald and gas wasnt so high. I would love to meet you and many of the others. Shucks.. Who knows I might get a miracle... And I will be there. I will be the one with the bathing suit, and swimmies around my wrists and ankles. LOL Laura

Hello Vickie this is Vickie too, just let me know when you are having this fun event and i will be there with bells and thongs on , naw just joking.
