Does anyone have Humana Coverage (HMO) that has been approved in 05

Does anyone have Humana HMO that has been approved in 2005? I know they stopped covering some but others have been covered. I'm trying to figure out what the difference is?

Every Humana plan is different. Even HMO's and PPO's, etc can have different stipulations depending on the contract that your employer developed with Humana. Some Humana plans still cover weight loss surgery, you just need to call the benefit number on the back of your card or look at a current plan booklet under "exclusions" to see if you have the coverage. There is no way to generalize whether or not they cover it.

I know that everyone is different. I was just trying to see if anyone was approved this year. Its not under my exclusion but i've basically been told that my odds are slim to none when getting approved. Im still going to try but im looking into financing it as well. Thanks for your response.

melanie, i have humana and healthspan. i do know that humana will cover other wls (most of the time), but my friend was denied for the lap band (Humana also) good luck!
