Good morning everyone. Last night I was lurking on some other states and so many sites have nothing. No one chats. How do they get along?I couldnt have done this without all of you. When I see people who need angels,I never had one but I felt all of you were my angels. I had a ton of angels. I am so glad you are all there for me and you are my support group/

Good Morning Cindy! Good morning to all! I know what you mean by support from this board and everyone on it. We are all really blessed! We were gone all weekend and this is the first chance I have had to get on here. I hope that everyone is doing well! It is going to be another hot day today, try to stay cool. I will be doing my workout in the pool....LOL....several times! I am so happy that you are feeling so good! If you and Dr. Curry are happy where you are at, then that is all that matters, right? I am 42 pounds from goal, and I feel wonderful already, I can only imagine what I will feel like the closer I get. I have 4 grandsons and I NEED to feel good, 3 of them are under the age of 3! So I think that feeling good and being healthy is my real goal, not a certain pound or size. Keep up the good work Cindy, you are doing great! Mary

Mornin' Cindy! Yeah I go look at the other state boards sometimes, sometimes I even post on em, just to see if anyone tells me "go home" Usually I just get ignored, I do have to say, that with our state motto of "the heart of it all" is so very true as Ohioians are the nicest people around with the biggest hearts too. I don't know what I'd do without you guys here on the Ohio board, your my support, my extended family, my friends, people that know what I'm going through, hug me when I need it and scold me when I'm bad. Your always there to when I've had milestones And y'all are real good at :rolf: to at my posts. I don't know what I'd do without you all... and I do not want to know either!

Hi Cindy, I agree....we have a really friendly board here in Ohio. I don't post as often here as I do the DS forum, only because I know I"m in the minority here as far as surgery type. However, I've never felt I wasn't welcome just because I'm going a different direction than many of the other people here. It still feels warm and fuzzy to post here! (that's a good thing!) By the way, I have a whole day of pre-op testing at Kettering Hospital this Thursday. I'm a big baby, so I'm dreading having to drink the chalky stuff for the upper GI as well as possible discomfort with the arterial blood gas test, but I'm sure I'll survive. My surgery is 3 weeks from this Thursday. I can't believe the time has almost arrived. Have a great week everyone! Hugs, Denise

Hi Neecy... don't matter much to us which kinda surgery your having, at least not to me, we're all on the same journey to better health. good luck on your pre-op testing... ugh don't remind me how awful that chalky drink is. hugs,

I am on all the boards, but Ohio is the best. We may not be the fastest moving, but we have support and we get along. Cheryl
