Starting college after surgery

I was wondering something from the ones that have been through the surgery I am having surgery on Aug 2nd and supposed to start college September 6th will that be enough time to heal? or should I give myself more time and start in the winter? I was wondering what to do because registration for fall quarter is friday July 1st any input would be great thanks Cindy
