Help! Burning pain in my side

Hi Everyone! I am 3 weeks out from my lap RNY. I was doing very well. Minimal discomfort except for some soreness under my left ribs. Yesterday I started having burning pain under my ribs any time I bend sown to pick something up or just lean forward. I also notice that it is very painful while I'm driving. It doesn't hurt at all when I'm lying down or sitting upright. I will call my surgeon tomorrow but has this happened to anyone else? Thanks, Jen

Jen, I am kind of in the same boat as you are. I have been having pain in my right side....kind of by my rib cage. It has been going on since Thursday. Doesn't burn but hurts! It didn't hurt like this before...so I will call my doctor tomorrow as well. I am 3 1/2 weeks out now....hurts to touch too! Sue
