My Grandfater passed away yesterday. He died from Lou Garretts (sp) disease. It really progressed very fast. He is no longer suffering. Please pray for my grandmother she is taking this very hard. The last few weeks he was in a nursing home, and now she has guilt that maybe she could have done something else for him. Thanks for the prayers, Lisa

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss. That is such a horrible disease. My heart goes out to your family, and especially your grandmother. This must be a very hard time for her. I will include you all in my prayers, especially that she will find peace and comfort. Are you doing better? I know you had some troubles with dehydration. Is it improving? God Bless, Nancy

Lisa, I am sorry for the loss in your family. Even when we know something is coming we are never really ready to lose someone we love so dearly. That disease is so horrible. I had an uncle who had it and it was so horrible to have his mind still be so sharp and intact and his body fail around him. He is in heaven now walking, talking and eating his favorite foods.. I pray that your family can find peace and comfort. Love you Lisa, Laura

Lisa, I am so sorry for your loss, just remember that all the pain he felt is gone. Your grandmother will get through this, your a very strong person and im sure it came from someone. Anyone that has gone through WLS is strong....What I can say is that I wish all the fairies in the world to make your pain lighter....Pam
