surgery scheduled!!!!

Due to insurance "issues",I got my approval last monday and I'm scheduled for surgey june 28th!!!!!! I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed and anxious!any words of encouragement are welcome!

Elaine, You will do great! I had my open Roux-en-Y surgery 2 weeks ago and everything went great! I am tired but walked about a mile today! Trying to sip water....that is the hard one for me! You will do well! I know several who had Dr. Sompal do their surgery and they are at goal already! Sie

sue, thanks for the good wishes it means alot to hear from those who have been there .I 'm anxious to start my journey it's been a long ride .I've been quite impressed with dr.sonpal and the entire st.vincent team already.I know I'll be in good hands. thanks again for the kind words. Elaine

I had Dr. Sonpal and am doing great! I am 5 months post op and down 90 lbs! Email me if you have questions or just need advice. You'll do great!

thanks so much for the messages,I did have to" jump through the hoops" as I know everyone has . the only reason we're hurrying up the date is the insurance is changing july 1st. oh well ,at least I won't have alot of time to get too worried.
