Thank you everyone!! I have talked to OSU, Barix (my original provider) and OSU (where I have paperwork on file). OSU doesn't like that my psych eval was done by my personal psychologist. Barix said they would try, but the reason I filled out OSU's paperwork was because I would like to at least try for a lap procedure. By far, Dr. Currry's office has been the nicest and the most willing to try. They said to call in the morning and they'll tell me what time to show up in the afternoon. Yippee!!!

Sharyn, Good luck with Dr. C's office. Everything I have heard about them has been wonderful...If any office can get it done before the 30th, they can!!! I had the same experience with Med. Mut.....3 denials, the run around, being put off, a different kakamamie reason for denial each time...then after 9 months I finally reach the point where I can request an external review...RE-collect all the documentation, RE-write the appeal letter...and POOF...the denials are suddenly overturned...aggravating isn't it?...BUT at least we're overturned! And I am now 5 weeks out...soon you will be too!!! Liz Hillsboro
