Hi everybody, I'm scared...the closer it the day gets the more worried I become. I went to pre-testing and I had so much info to look over that I really begin to wuestion if I was doing the right thing.I'm so afraid of the what if's. Please send some prayers up for me, I can surely use them. Does anyone out there drink boost for protein? I have heard alot of different stories about what you can or can't have. For everybody else having surgery good luck and best wishes always Angela

You will be fine. It isnt nearly as hard as you think. Just remember, one day at a time and you will lose everyday, Its really fun. It is a real thinking process and it takes about 6 months to feel like you can relax but then you know exactly what to do. It all comes naturally then. I have lost 101lbs in 10 months and I feel great now. Its just a way of life and I like it alot. I feel normal for the first time in 34 years. I will say a very special prayer for you so relax(haha) I know thats so hard, Love CIndy

Angela, I was very nervous before my surgery, everyone is. My surgery and recovery was 10 times better than I ever thought it could be. I had a couple of moments of "what the hell did I do to myself" in the 2 weeks after the surgery. Those moments didn't last long and they haven't been back. If you've pursued your journey this far then you finished one of the worst parts of the battle. Eric

Thankyou Eric, I will remeber that when I get to feeling scared, and I will try to be as positve as I can, I guess the best way to look at it is, I'll be looking and feeling great soon! Take care and keep in touch. Thanks again, I feel alot better!!!

I have yet to get a surgery date, but I did recently start drinking Boost for Breakfast because I don't ususally eat in the morning. It is not bad. Try different flavors to see which you prefer. My god Bless you during this time and for years to come. Maria
