Dayton Garden Party was really fun!

Hi All - Just wanted everybody to know how fun the Dayton Garden Party was at Cathy P.'s house this last Saturday! Thanks to Cathy for being such a gracious hostess and opening her house/garden up to us. I had a really nice time visiting with everybody. It's so nice to have folks that have been there/done that with this surgery. You guys are great! Laura M.

Thanks Guys, Laura, where'd you say that Troy Stawberry Fesitival was located? If it wasn't so darn hot I'd go. I hope Caren was right about getting colder after surgery. I tried to fertilize my flowers this morning and had to give up. More sweat was coming off of me then water out of the hose. Lise, I'd love to have a copy of those pictures. Maybe I'll start a neat little album like Chris's. You're all welcome back. Maybe we can all go Thrift Shopping one day.. (I'm a terrible shopper) Cathy

The Troy Strawberry Festival is in...well, Troy... If you've ever been to Troy, you'll know that the question "where at in Troy" is pretty unecessary! It's a fun time, though, I've been there. C

Dr. C. You've should have come up here for our little get-together. The girl that lives behind me has the voice of an angel and plays dulcimer. You could have brought your instument and we could have had a blue grass jam She and her husband are both looking into WLS. They didn't know about the band, but said they would be watching my progress. Oh the pressure.. Cathy

I wish I would have been able to attend. I am glad to hear everyone had such a wonderful time. I was still a little sick yesterday, but doing great today. I will meet you soon. Until then we have the message board. Hugs, Lisa

I am so sorry for not being able to make it. I have been getting ready for my step-son's graduation party (which went well today) and I looked at my watch yesterday and it was already 12:30! AAAAAAAAAAAAARGH. Cathy, when is your surgery? Wishingyou all the best and you let me know if there is anything I can do.

Hi Jill, Don't worry about it. There's no way that we'll all be free at the same time all the time. You can still come and visit anytime. I was curious about your new job. So you know when your going to start? Do you feel good enough to work full time? Let us know what's going on. Oh..my surgery date is June 27th. I start my liquid diet on the 17th. Actually, I'm looking forward to it. It means that I'll really start losing weight. Cathy

I agree with Laura, it was such a fun get-together and its always fun to see all of you and get a chance to talk. Caren and I went on to our very successful thrifting! Thanks for your hospitality Cathy. Your garden was lovely! Chris
