Only 3 days till surgery 6/7/05

Hi all I only have 3 days till surgery and boy I can't wait but I wanted to thank all of you who gave me ispiration through you posts that let me know that this was the right thing for me to do to get my life in order and lead a more healthier life for me and my family. I look forward to the day when I can go to the amusement with my family and not sit on the benches, I look forward to skating at the rink with my husband and kids, going to the beach and swimming, crossing my legs or sitting indian style on the floor, buying clothing from a store of my choosing,not scanning the room for that real sturdy chair...the list could go on and on but you all have been there so you know to some degree what I mean because to sum it all up I cant wait to be happy with being me. So once again THANK YOU for helping me help myself.

As I am sitting here reading your post, my legs are crossed . I have reached 100 lbs,10 months post and it is a natural thing now. I just came in from feeding my deer and said to my husband, I couldnt hardly walk up that one step last year. Now I just do it like I am a kid. This surgery gives you a whole new way of life. I thank God everyday for having the courage to go through with it. I would do it again in a second.Thanks to Dr.darling Curry.
