protein "issue"

I would LOVE a protein pill, but with my luck it'd be bigger than the vitamins we have to take...but I have another issue with protein...I am allergic to soy!!! It is VERY difficult to find products that are NOT soy protein. I am SEARCHING for a protein bar NOT made with soy....any one know of any?? Liz Hillsboro

I will check some of my labels on mine but I am pretty sure all the ones I have tried have soy in them. If I find out anything I will let you know. Hugs, Lisa

Thank you so much Lisa....but I think you are right...most all bars have soy...unless I become Susie Homemaker and concoct some sort of bar made with whey protein and peanut butter!!!...fat chance though, the kitchen is NOT my friend. Liz

Miss Liz, I still think I could make a million if I could come up with a Protein Patch and Multivitamin Patch. Could you imagine not having to worry about drinking those nasty protein shakes and getting all the nutrition you need from a patch you change once a week. I still havent passed my kidney stone and I am getting worried that I will pass it just about the time my daughter Graduates on Saturday. I already missed her prom and I sure dont want to miss this big event. The Drs office offered to catherize for me for the day so I dont have to worry about panning for the stone in my urine. Now I would certainly love to have a bag hanging down my leg.. LOL Life is always an adventure for me!!!!!! I Love you and have a great day Laura

Absolutely Laura...that protein patch would be SO popular!!! Hmmmm...I am trying to figure out how to disguise your catheter bag as some sort of new accessory!!!....may be camoflage it as a beaded hand bag???...just don't offer any one lip gloss or a kleenex!!! You know Laura, in some weird way I am getting a kick out of our "Lucy and Ethel"-like lives!!! I am hoping that "This too shall pass"!!!!!! Keep taking those pain meds girl!!! Love ya Laura!!! Liz
