can you gain????

I know they say after your window closes(18 months) you can gain weight easily. Can anyone tell us what exactly what that means? I am 10 months out and does this full feeling after we eat change??? What exactly happens? I am so nervous about this.I would really appreciate anyone who can answer this for me, Thanks all.Cindy

Cindy, Your pouch enlarges a little bit over the first 2 years of it's life, so you may be able to eat a little more than you can now. Some people "learn" how to defeat the pouch by taking in lots of liquid calories, etc. The bottom line is, if you remain active and keep the carbs low in your diet, you will do just fine. And if you don't do those things, there will be heck to pay because I'm watching! Dr. C
