ONE WEEK AND 2 DAYS......

HI,all I only have one week and 2 days to go till surgery and I should be really nervous but instead I am very very ready to start my new life as a healthy person. I am trying tho to assure my sons age 9 and 10 that I'll be okay but my 10 year old has been really bratty about this as of late my 9 year old just knows that he will miss mommy and my husband cant wait to spend some alone time (tho short it may be ) with the kids I really scared for my house (lol). One of my problems tho is trying to figure out what to pack and the best way to keep myself feeling clean .Because at home I have been known for taking 2 to 3 showers in a day to feel fresh (just one of my hang ups about personal hygenine). Got some good tips from support group about freezing broth and pudding in ice trays. They say it helps keeps you on track and feel less stress about cooking your meal or opening that can. I am soooo excited I cant wait to be on the losing side. So, I part and say good luck all and healthy living... XOXOXOXOXOX

Krystal, good luck on your journey. I didnt have to pack anything, they gave everything I needed. I made sure I had my robe so I could use it instead of the gown only. LOL. But when had my surgery and on the morphine, I didnt really care. They even gave me socks with traction. I am glad you are somewhat calm. Just be prepared and you should stay that way.
