Just got out of hospital

Well, my old friend, the ulcer decided to come back and pay a visit. It started aggravating me here and there over the past few weeks but nothing bad but last Wed night, BAM! Felt like someone stabbed me in the stomach! Went to ER and then was admitted. The did an endoscopy and there he was, just a smiling for the camera! Right at the anastamosis (joining of the stomach and intestines from surgery). I am on medication now and do feel much better. The first night in the hospital, I was in ER all night due to lack of rooms. Not fun and no sleep but they gave me something to help sleep (along with the pain medication) and I sleep well Thurs and Fri night. Hopefully my little friend will go away and not come back. Good news is that I probably will get a job on the floor I was on, which does the bariatric surgeries as well as general surgeries. I talked to the charge nurse and assistant head nurse while I was there and they are going to human resources to get my resume and application. So like I have always said, everything happens for a reason! Love ya and missed reading the message board!

Sorry to hear you have been down, but glad to hear you our getting better. I am only 2 and 1/2 weeks out. I just keep praying that I don't have any problems. Just take it easy and enjoy the weather.... Hugs, Julie

Jill, That has got to be the most BARZZAR way to get a job interview and then to get a job!!!!!!!! LOL Couldn't you thing of anyother way to talk to the charge and asst. head nurse than to be addmitted to there ward??????? I'm glad your all better now. Robin W
