Congrat's Jack, sounds like fun. I think I also need new knee's.. I love to walk, but my go**** hurts now, i guess it's from not really using these parts in many years and now using them. ::neener:: Suns up here today I gotta van now, I was the Official Basketball Mom last year, I put more boys in my van than was allowable. (only had to go half mile, or I wouldn't have risked it, besides if I hadn't taken them, they wouldn't have made it... arg "some parents")

Hello again everyone! 1) I am exercising quite a bit because I'm training for a triathlon this October 16th. (Did I just say that out loud? LOL!) Right now I'm walking/running a mile, then strength training, then swimming 500 meters in the pool on my "multi" days. On "single" days, I either walk/run three miles or bike for about 45 minutes. I mix things up with some boxing, yoga, hiking, etc when I get a chance. I was always pretty athletic before surgery, but it's more fun now that I'm smaller! * Definitely recommend water exercises, or there are some good "sit and be fit" DVDs out now, where you can exercise without standing up. 2) I was told that I looked like a girl from the Real World once, but I don't even remember which one. LOL. 3) I don't know who stole the sun, but I want it back! 4) A new car...hmm, probably a Nissan Xterra. I have a Nissan Frontier now and I'm a Nissan girl for life - they are the best cars ever!

Whoooaaa you sound like the once younger me.. have a blast! Just remember to take care of those bones and joints. Between playing too hard and taking a nasty fall years ago, that's what and why I am unable to do as much now. now listen to your elders.. Well idunnowhereyouarebutwe'vehadtheSUNforgoingon3days now

Hello Vicky! Glad to see ya' again. Are things going okay with your son?? Answers to your questions... 1. Exercise. Well, I try to walk the 1 mile fitness trail in the park 3 times a week. I work 2 jobs, one is M-F and the other is on the weekends at the airport. So I walk waaaaayyyy back to the shuttle for concourse C as fast as I can. At first, (9days out), it wasn't very fast...then it got a little better. Last weekend I walked REALLY fast and I stopped using any of the moving sidewalks. I am only 7 weeks out, so I am trying to do as much as I can without doing too much. Plus I mow the grass and house cleaning is a marathon thing for me as you can imagine with two jobs. 2. Before I gained all my weight I was told I looked like Ally Sheedy, and once I was told I look like Sarah Evans. (country singer). 3. The sun is back, so thankfully the thief must have been apprehended. 3. I wouldn't get rid of my Aztek...I just love that car, but I would give the money to my husband so he could fix up his '69 Lincoln Continental-the rest of the money would have to go towards gas, because the thing is a YACHT! Everyone take care! Becky

Hi Rebecca! My sons been better, dunno if something I said finally clicked in his head, or the bribery.. or the flowers I bought him cause I love him, but right now things are all cool. I mean he's not over exerting himself, but he's not sitting on the couch just geling as he had been either. Last night we even got in a bit of a tickling wiggle thing. It started when I asked him to scratch this spot on my back (yanno the place, where your fingers just can't quite touch...) then he decided to tickle.. well he's even more ticklish than me... so on it was! Funny thing I told him, now remember I am STILL bigger than you.. Well he laughed and said Mom I don't think so. Especially since he's grown taller yet and is towering over me and his weight.. well we're about even there now. (gosh I wish I'd get below 200 already, so close and yet.. such a huge goal it will be) *sigh* good job on the walking too, I have 2 jobs also, the one that pays me and the other is just being a Single Mom.. no pay but the rewards are high. But a lot of work alone too. hugs

Hi! Someone told me to write to you and see if you could help me. I have a first date scheduled with the doctor but they can't get me in until july 29th. I also have Medicaid and they told me that it would be another 6 to 9 months after they submitted my papers before I heard if I was accepted. She said that maybe you could help me with the paperwork to send to Medicaid myself before I see the doctor, just so I could get something started now. Let me know. I am new at all of this and have no idea what "papers" need to go where.
