you must have a HUGE yard to have to mow 2-3 times a week for 40 minutes, I wish. My yard 1x a week, for about 40 minutes, but manOman is my heart a thumping while doing so. Then the weed-wackin', another hour I'd say, that don't make my heart thump, but it sure does give my chest, shoulders, upper arms a workout. I know you.. can I have your autograph? Hi! Ok my turn! 1. You can see my posts regularly at the Bodybuilding & weightlifting forum. My hubby and I are regulars there. We powerlifted before surgery and I am at it again post surgery. We are working to see how much muscle mass you can maintain or build up after surgery. I love weight training. I am noticing some great definition and have actually added three pounds of lean muscle mass. WOO HOOO!!! That's hard for a woman to do. I competed for the first time since before my surgery in March and got 2nd place. (Bench press competition) It's addictive and I love it. We have pretty much a full gym in our garage. I think swimming would be the best bet for folks having trouble with walking or resistance training. I hope your scholarship comes through. I know how good it is to get in the pool. That makes for some great opportunities to build your strength with gentle reistance. My hope is that one day my hubby (Earl) can become a personal trainer. He'd make an awesome one! 2. Well, once upon a time someone said Vicki Lawrence...LAWD! I don't know of anyone really off the top of my head. 3. Wasn't me! But whoever did bring it back and no questions will be asked! 3. 1. Exercise - are you or aren't you? If so what sorts are you doing? What type of exercise would you recommend for someone who is not physically able to go out for a walk? or lift weights? Since I am just a week post op I am not really doing anything other just work hard to get in and out of bed and walking around the house a lot. I am climbing stairs and folding clothes for exercise. 2. Have you been told you look like anyone famous? I have been told I look like Rosanne Barr 3. Who the he** stole the sun? OK that's not the real ? here 3. again. If you could buy any new vehicle, what would you get? I would buy a brand new Dodge Caravan minivan. I know vans are not cool or sexy but they are so good for hauling kids and equipment around.
