I got the call tonight that my e-mail segment was used for the taping of Monday's show. It's still possible that it might get edited out for time reasons but the producer said it looked great and should be on. Yippee! ~Sarah

Well, if it makes you feel better you also know the following celebs through 2 degrees: Al Roker Matt Lauer Lisa Ling Al Franken Mo Rocca And the following through 3 degrees: Julia Roberts Benjamin Bratt Michelle Kwan *and all the people the people under 2 degress know I haven't figured out how many degrees to Kevin Bacon...oh yeah, he was in Flatliners with Julia Roberts so you I can connect you to Kevin Bacon in 4 degrees.

There was a movie called 6 Degrees Of Separation that talked about how everyone in the world is linked to each other by at least 5 people. Degree 1: You know me Degree 2: I know Al Roker So you know Al Roker through 2 degrees of separation. Years ago some college students made up a game called 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon, because he had been in so many movies with ensemble casts. So the object was to link an actor/actress to Kevin Bacon in 6 degrees or less.

I must be a real numbnut because I dont get it at all

It's basically, "I know someone, who knows someone's brother's ex-girlfriend's cousin" That type of connection, supposedly we know EVERYONE through 1-6 degrees of people.
