Info on Chillicothe Support Group

Could anyone please let me know when the Chillicothe support group is and where? Thanks a bunch! Tabitha

Tabitha, I sent you an email. It is held at the Adena Hospital off of Rt23. You would take 23S Turn on Hospital Rd it would be to your left or just follow the signs. I hope this helps. If it was not for the fact I see the surgeon Monday, I would go down. I do plan on attending some of the Chillicothe ones. Talk to you soon... Julie

I am going to have to venture down there, you know I am originally from Circleville, so I know where it's at and I make the trip to the Chillibowl at least once a month (It's my meeting place for my mom when my daughter spend the weekends with her) it's half way for both of us, she lives in Portsmouth. I know there is one tomorrow night. Valerie...how did you your daughter do Wed? This is what I have on it. We would love to see you, the meetings are the first Monday of every month at 6:30 PM. We meet at the Adena Hospital on US 23 north of Chillicothe. We meet in the Hopewell room which is just inside the emergency room entrance Maybe one month we can all ride together or something? HI! She did GREAT!! We have a Freshman Cheerleader in the house! I am really proud of her! She literally went in "cold" did her "thang" ~ shake what your mama gave ya ~ and made it. That's my girl! Real trouper...she's missed 55 days of school with mono, still passing, tried out for cheerleader less than two weeks of having her tonsils and adenoids out to boot! Ok, so I am bragging now... But you know how it is. NOW we just need our levy to pass Tuesday, because if it doesn't, there will be nothing next year. Not even a prom or any dances or sports or anything. Keep us in your prayers. I don't think I am going to make the meeting... I want to go, but she is wanting to go to the High School Baseball game at 5pm. Her sweetie is playing and the kids are all nervous about this being the last year for anything, so I am going to take her to that. This is where I wished my kids could drive! But, I am going to try to make them in the future. I need to start branching about a little with some support groups. It would be nice to get to meet people I talk to on the board but don't get to see. Good luck with your appt. tomorrow. Let us know how it goes ok? You know I will be thinking about you! HUGS! Val

The Chillicothe ObesityHelp Chapter "The Dumpling Gang" meets the first Monday of every month at the Adena Hospital just north of Chillicothe on US RT 23. We meet at 6:30 in the Hopewell Room which is just inside the emergency room entrance. Our group is open to anyone. We dont care where, when or if you have or never will have surgery, you are welcome. We also invite you families and support bases to attend.
