Hi Val, Thanks soooo much for everything! You have been sooo supported and helpful with all the info you have shared here online and at the meeting where I first met you!! I just can't wait to see Dr. Mikami, I have soooo many questions! I have been so excited and also sooo scared to death the last 2 days thinking.."What have I done?" I know its normal, I just don't want the 2 PE's and CHF I got from my last surgery!! I'm lucky to make it through all of that and to think of having surgery and having the chance of going through it again has really frightened me!! It didn't help that I went to the Memorial page the evening I found out I was approved and seeing all the people that has passed because of Blood Clots........ But, I also know that OSU is wonderful about giving heprin shots before and after surgery, so I do feel better about that and the idea of having this surgery done laproscopic. CONGRATULATIONS!!! I know the feeling, I was there not too long ago. Dr. Needleman will do my surgery and I really like him. If you get him, I know you will be happy. He's a super nice guy and his office staff are just as wonderful. Good luck on your surgery and getting a date soon. I picked my surgery date, but it had to be changed. I'd originally had 5/5/5, neat date, but got changed to 5/9/5 which is just as good I guess. You'll be in my prayers for a full and uneventful recovery!!! Hugs, Susie

I also wanted to let you know, I haven't been able to get ahold of my friend back in the Marietta area, her number is disconnected for some reason. My mom is friends with her mom and said if she talks to her she will get her number, then I will call and ask about the Support Meeting in Beverly! Congratulations!! I am so happy for you. I remember that feeling of first getting approved and nothing can ruin it for you. You will have to keep us posted and let us know as soon as they give you a date! PS, I about fainted when your picture went up for the first time, you girl are drop dead gorgeous and just think, once surgery comes your gonna be double drop dead gorgeous!! Cheryl
