for the first time in probly twenty (that's 20) years...now--for many of you that may not seem like such an accomplishment--some of you are much more fit than i--however-- while i wanted this surgery to regain my health and ability to play with my granddaughters--i never really thought about running again (broke my ankle 3 places 10 yrs ago-very careful about even walking!!!!) ---today on my walk; i broke into a short run--maybe only 50 feet --but it felt good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! had i run all of the way home ; i wouldn't have made it--i know that now--knew it then--but-damn it --i ran!!!!!!!!!!!! such a blessing this tool is!!!!!!!! look out world, here comes margo!!!!!!!!!!

Good for you Margo. I certainly cant run yet but I can get on the floor with my grandkids, and get up without holding on. I still have 25lbs to go and it is very very slow. I guess all I have is time huh? I am so proud of you, keep on running,Love,Cindy

Margo, that is GRRRRREAT! So far, I am afraid to try running (I'm afraid all that flopping around would hurt somebody). But maybe someday, when I build up a muscle or two. You are right it is a wonderful tool. My only regret is that I didn't do it much sooner. Hugs, Kitty B. RNY 12/13/04 251 / now 184 / goal 145

"And I ran, I ran so faraway.....couldn't get away!" hehehe dating myself with that rendition of the Flock of Seagulls song! AIN'T IT GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's 50 more feet than you could do before!!! WOOOO HOOOO!!! I bet you felt like you were flying! I am so proud of you! I don't think people who have never had a weight problem really appreciate what they have. I cherish every thing new that I do as a wonderful gift!! Thank GOD for this surgery...Life has a whole new wonderful meaning for us, and there is no greater gift than that! ((((((((((((((((((((((((((BIG HUG))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Val
