hair loss
Hi. I had my surgery in late October and the last two months I have had a lot of hair loss, but thankfully, it is now diminishing. I have been doing a couple of different things. Another bypass patient told me about the Biotin (you can find this at GNC if nowhere else), so I take that, plus Hair Care from Within vitamins from Avon. I also had another patient, who is also in the medical field, tell me to have a handful of peanuts everyday. I have also been doing this. Now, my hair loss is more like it should be.
Everyone is different though, so my remedies may not work for all.
Hope things get better for you.
Take care.
I'm sorry nothing has worked for you. I hope you find a remedy soon. What a terrible feeling to go from one problem and create another! I know I went through a heartwrenching spell when the hair decline first started and wondered what I had done to myself!! My hair is very thick, thank the good Lord! Again, best wishes and I hope you find something, too. Keep searching, I'm sure there are things out there that none of us have even heard of! Take care and best wishes!
I am almost 8 months out and have experienced the same problem with hair loss. Nioxin didn't work for me because all it did was irritate my scalp. I started taking 1200 mg of flax oil and 1000mg of Biotin about 2 months ago. I am still losing some hair but my hair stylist has told me recently that I have new hair growing back. I hope you find a solution that works for you!
