GTKY #7
I hope everyone had a great Easter and survived without any peeps or other goodies getting in the weigh. I cooked for several members of my family, had a great meal that everyone liked and I could pick and choose good food choices from. So that leads us into the first question...
1. Did you stick to your healthy eating plan on Easter?
2. What do you do at work/home when your bored?
3. What's your favorite season?
4. How many questions would you like me to post a day? Also what if any questions would you like for me to ask? (Now don't anyone ask out of turn, I will compile the ?'s and put them out when my brain is on freeze mode)
1. Yes I did! I had (protein 1st), ham, 1 angel (deviled)egg, broccoli & cauliflower w/cheese and a couple bites of macaroni salad. However I felt I had 1 too many bites, but not enough to make myself ill, just full, not even pig-out Turkey day full though. I had only 2 slices of strawberry a bit later. That was my dessert. (now remember this was my first holiday I had the option to eat real food at since my surgery, so I did very good, I think)
2. Sit and twiddle my thumbs at work and read everything on OH.com and the front page news, glad it's not everyday I have nothing to do. At home? Dunt get bored, too much to always do there, if I am not cleaning, cooking, exercising or building profiles, chasing my teenager, then I am sleeping... lol
3. Spring! That is if it ever comes this year... lol I like it because it's a new beginning, like a new season of hope, spring flowers start poking their heads out, birds start their singing, everything begins to regrow. I get older... Ok that one I don't like about it! lol Then I sneeze.. achoo and say well Summer is next and I O so love the warm sun on me.
4. 3 - 4 depending on what kind of answer I am trying to get you all to admit to... I mean if they are lengthy answers or not. ummm I CAN'T answer the second part here.
hugs and prayers,
Vickie

1. Nope I cheated I ate 2 pieces of easter candy. Peanutbutter easter egg, bite-size snickers, and 1 malted milk ball.
2. When I get bored I clean the house, take out trash, wash dishes, etc. Sometimes I surf the net but, not too often cause I am on the computer all the time.
3. Summer. I like summer so you can go swimming.
4. Ask away! The more the merrier.
1. Did you stick to your healthy eating plan on Easter?
I had a few bites of sugar free cake and we went to the Chinese buffet and I had breaded chicken, noodles and rice. Of course I did not have much, but since I had some I went over my carbs.
2. What do you do at work/home when your bored?
I am always on the website when I have free time
3. What's your favorite season?
Spring and fall. Not too hot, not too cold
4. How many questions would you like me to post a day? Also what if any questions would you like for me to ask?
Less than 5. I like questions that help us get to know each other or help us explore ourselves.
Cheryl
Vickie,
Keep them coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!
1. Even though I haven't had the surgery yet, I ate very slowly, protein first, vegetables, a sliver of no sugar added apple pie.
2. At home I avoid cleaning, unless I know someone is coming over, I love to read or watch chick flicks. At work I have no time to get bored, I'm always busy or checking out OH.com Ohio website.
3. I love spring when everything comes to life again and fall because I love football. This fall my son will be a half back. The team went to State last year in Div. six. They will probably go again when he's a senior in three years.
4. Less than five. You're doing great ! Keep 'em coming.

p.s. Vickie, my husband grew up across from the chuch in Richfield Center and I grew up just east of Assuption. Both are just west of Toledo. I love going to Toledo to visit family and friends. Why do you call it Frogtown? Soon, where we both grew up will be part of Toledo, it's spread out so far. I lived on Central Ave. just a quarter mile east of Lucas County. It used to be all fields until you got to West Gate. Now most of Central Ave has stores and businesses spreading close to my old homested.

Hi Vickie,
I echo everyone else! Keep these coming it is a great way to get to know each other!
1. I am pre-op so.....yes, I did eat healthy. I have been on a "diet" since September and eat the same just about every day. I did have a little piece of ham which was a nice treat....and NO candy!
2. I watch my 5 year old granddaughter so she won't let me get bored! When she isn't here I love to quilt so spend hours in my room sewing!
3. I love the fall....always have and always will! Spring means that summer is coming and I can't stand the heat!
4. 4-5 questions is perfect......and you are doing such a great job I can't think of any questions to ask!
Sue....who hopes that the insurance and the right answer for me this week! Positive vibes........
Healthy eating plan????? I am having surgery on Wednesday and we did Easter, my birthday, my brother's birthday and my neice's birthday. Actually I didn't do bad...ham, peas, green beans, potatoes. And possibly...(pause while I wipe my eyes and sniff) the last peeps I will ever have.
At work when I am bored, I check out OH or play pogo. At home I read...but then I do that when I am bored or not. heehe
Summer! I love summer! I love sunshine and humidity. (really, I do)
4 questions seems perfect! Your questions are wonderful.
ps. thanks for the post on my surgery page!
You will be able to eat a peep or even two again. They are only 4 grams of sugar and 32 colories. I promise you get to eat again, even if you dont eat nearly as much. One or two peeps will satisfy you too. Its amazing but you can eat what you want, just a little bit. Thats why this is amazing surgery because we are satisfied with a tiny bit. Your life is beginning with a whole new way of eating and its the way everyone should eat. Moderation is the whole answer, not dieting, Cindy
1. Did you stick to your healthy eating plan on Easter?
Yes I did, I am still on the pureed diet, so it was just a bit of runny mashed spuds for me. At this point I am not hungry yet, so it wasn't too bad really...other than listening to everyone crunch on the fresh vegies...killer...
2. What do you do at work/home when your bored?
When I get bored at home, I usually crochet, surf the net, in the summer I am outside, swimming or gardening.
3. What's your favorite season?
My favorite season is Fall, I love the smell of the leaves, the sound of them, everything, especially the smell of fresh baked carrot cake...ahhhhh...no...wait a minute...maybe it is Winter, after a fresh blanket of snow and everyone is sledding down our hill...or maybe Summer, with the sounds of my grandsons laughing in the pool, or the smell of the flowers and fresh cut grass...But oh Spring, when all of flowers are starting to come to life and the birds are singing so beautiful! We have 5 seasons here, spring, summer, winter, fall and MUD! I don't much care for the mud season, especially with two big dogs!
4. How many questions would you like me to post a day? Also what if any questions would you like for me to ask? (Now don't anyone ask out of turn, I will compile the ?'s and put them out when my brain is on freeze mode)
Vickie, just keep on doing what you are doing. I think these are really a fun way to get to know one another. Thanks for the fun!

#1) uh-no. Had some Hershey minitures. Even though I cheated, this Easter was a massive success compared to previous Easters.
#2) When I'm bored I play X-Box or work in the garage.
#3) Fall. Football !!!!!!!
#4) You can ask what is our new favorite piece of clothing, if we've had any class reunion moments, if we can tie our shoes without holding our breath, if we've inspired anyone else to get healthy, or if any girls want to send me naked pictures
