How much time??

I am trying to do some planning and am wondering those of you who had Lap: How long were you off work? Or, how long till you felt you could go back to work? (My job is not physical and I know that has a lot to do with it I am just looking for an average.) Enjoy the Sunshine!!! Thanks - Stacey

Hi Stacy, I had my surgery on a monday morning and I was home Thursday afternoon. I was walking a mile after 1 week. I ws really deternmined, but I had the ok from my doc. I was back to work in 10 days doing light duty. I didn't have any problems and everything was ok. Just listen to your doctor and listen to your body. Good Luck, Richard

Hey Stacey, My best friend had the lap procedure. She came home from the hospital with six band-aids and went back to work the day after her 2 week post-op. She's a nurse and has a lot of walking. So if your job is not physical you'll probably be just fine. Good Luck Temeka
