Eastside support group meeting next Monday!!!!!

Hi Guys, as promised, here is the info for the for Eastside Bariatric Support meeting. Our last meeting was really great. For those of you who didn't make it, you have an opportunity to attend this coming Monday (21st) at the first meeting I think I can speak for all who attended and say that there was a great connection and it was wonderful to be in a relaxed atmosphere with such nice people. I can really see this group becoming something great! The meeting will begin at 6pm but feel free to come late if you need to. We will be discussing strategies for staying on track with proper eating and sharing some of our favorite recipes. If you have one, bring it and I can copy it for you at the meeting. We will also discuss the Picnic that will be held this spring or summer and decide on a venue and day and what we would like to see happen there. This will be open to any WLS patients but we will be sponsoring it. There will be samples of some appropriate post-op foods and everyone is encouraged but not obligated to bring a sample of something they would like to share. We also have a clothing exchange. I will have numerous shirts, jeans and other items that I will be bringing. If you are planning on attending and need something besides a folding chair please e-mail me prior to Monday so I can arrange for you to have something available. I want everyone to feel comfortable and uninhibited from participating in this support group.
