My "wow" moment

Thank you Cheryl! I haven't shared any other moments, but this one I had to. BTW, my oldest son caught me crossing my legs the other day and told me KNOCK IT OFF! I asked why? He said cause my Momma NEVER done that. He said he don't want me to become a 'prissy' gal, but wants me to keep the tomboy part of me. LoL Ok I kinda agree, I always liked to play hard and wasn't never one much for make-up. So anyways I told him I would try !

There is nothing wrong with playing hard and looking GOOD while you do it....right? Cheryl

Vickie, I am soooooooooo happy and thrilled for you! It is wonderful! I know you're going to feel like a million dollars for your first day on the job. Not be prissy? Well, your basic personality (which is great) is not gonna change. I know that from reading your profile and your postings, which are always an inspiration to me! But of course you are going to notice and pay attention to how you look a little more than before - who could help it? Not being prissy, just being aware. At least for me, I don't avoid seeing myself in the mirror anymore. DH and I went to Zanesville yesterday and saw a bunch of people who hadn't seen me in a while. It was so much fun - everybody had so much to say about how different I look! Funny, I don't notice it so much on a daily basis. But they could really tell! Vickie congrats on the smaller pants!! I would suggest hitting some of the thrift store in town... I know that I spent waaaaayyy to much money that first year on clothes only to be worn one or two times. Congrats!! Let me know when you will be back in Cinti, and we can going shopping!! Thanks Sharon! The thrift stores closest to me never have much of anything, but will check them again for spring clothes soon. This weather has GOT to break eventually. Snowing like a **** up here again today. (figures I have to be in Columbus by noon tommorrow) Believe me even at the higher price for the pants, I'll get my $ worth out of them. Heck I only got 2 pairs, wear one, wash the other. I'm supposed to come back to Cincy in the spring, but with the job assignment I have to start with, I will have like NO free time until the end of April. (sorry Dr. C, gotta wait longer to see me...lol) When I am heading that way though I will let you know Sharon! Thank you!

Thank you (((( Kitty)))) I dunno about a million dollars, but I will be smiling in my new pants! Ya my personality is mine, had the same one for a nearly 46 years now. I kinda like looking in the mirror now, see what's sagging more.. ha ha More aware, yeah, I actually looked at make-up yesterday. But didn't purchase anything new. I'm such a pasty white this time of year, nothing matches my skin tone. Sad, but true. And I really don't like feeling like I'm wearing a mask. A little eye color, blush maybe and mascara IF'n it's not allergy season.
