My "wow" moment

I HAD to go shopping today finally, I have been existing in oversized sweats and too big, well everything. I will still wear my baggy winter shirts though as I am freezin all the time and I'm not going to invest in anymore winter clothing this winter. But I had to buy pants, I finally start my job on Monday and I cannot do it in sweats, let alone ones that do not stay up..lol I shopped 3 stores and was totally feeling tired and frustrated. See I have no hips and not much of a behind, but still round in the middle, everything I tried on, if it fit in the tummy, then they were too large everywhere else and I looked a fool. I finally said to myself, well they cost more, (i really haven't got much $ at the moment, I haven't worked since before surgery) but give Fashion Bug a shot, because I NEED pants. So I went in, searched the store, I still need stretch pants cause of the belly = butt = no hip thing. I started trying pants on in size 22-24, haha too funny and too big. go down a size.. still funny, 18-20 still baggy.. SO I go ask the girl if they carry this style of pants in just an 18, cause the 18-20 was on the big size, she said nope. Now I'm wondering what the heck am I gonna do? She suggest the next size down. I'm thinking there is no way in heck I'm gonna get into a 14-16... BUT guess what size I bought? ! 14-16's! I couldn't help smiling and the girl told me after today I was banned from the +sized part of the store. When I walked out the door, I had tears in my eyes and couldn't wait to show my son the size tag on the pants when I got in the car. OMG what a moment! They still might be "stretch" pants, but hey they fit!! Well for a little while maybe..lol prayers and hugs, Vickie

OMG!!!! What a fantastic WOW!!!!!!!!! and you start work monday--that is super vic--i know that will be a welcomed addition to your new life!!! i am constantly cold since surgery- not surprising to find me bundled in a blankie as i am right now!!!!!!

Thank you Margo! Yep I've been waiting to go back to work, glad the govt finally has it's shi*p together now, lucky me gets to go to Columbus for training for the next couple days. (pray we don't get much snow today) My thermostat has been set at 70 all winter and still am freezin!

I am so happy for you. Isnt it fun for a change? I have the same problem with my belly. They say its the last to go. I have 30 lbs more to go and its all in my middle. I have been getting great pants at Chicos. The stretch ones on sale are great/ They will go all the way down a few more sizes or really all the way till the end. Good luck,Love,Cindy
