Well, I did it. I ordered me a pair of regular roller skates, street skates to start using. I've wanted to go skating for the longest time and there's no place around here to go to. So a few nights ago, I went in search of some roller skates and found a pair I loved and ordered. I plan on using them in front of my house so hubby can help if I fall. God, I hope I don't fall!!! Never did long ago, but that was then and this is now. So, after I get use to them again, there's a boat ramp at the other end of town that I can skate on while hubby fishes. Three trips around the parking lot equals one mile and I hope to build up to many many miles on those wheels. I'm both tickled pink and scared silly about getting those skates!! Can't wait to start and afraid I'll end up breaking everything in my body. I know, get pads and wear a helmet. I am!! I'm most worried about my wrists and head, even though my head only has muddy water in it, I'd hate to lose any of it!!

So pray for me to stay up and roll on with ease!!! I'll let you know how things go. Thank God for a small town, I can skate on these streets and not have much to worry about car wise at certain times of the night. Safety is good here, you can walk anytime and it's well lighted. On a different note, I haven't lost that much weight, very little actually, on my 6 month diet, but I've managed to lose 8 1/2 inches so far. So I consider that good. I know skating will help me lots!!!! Later gaters!!! Hugs, Susie
