Fell pff the wagon today.
Well I had an extreme day and ended up having a cigarette. I hope this won't hurt me when it comes to pre-op testing on Monday. I fell like such a loser and not a "good" loser. It seems I always seem to mess stuff up. Does anyone know of any breathing exercises I can do to erase this.
Any advise is welcomed.
Temeka
Temeka, do yourself a favor and quit smoking. I quit with the patch and it was not so bad. You don't want to screw up everything you have worked for in getting this surgery. We all make mistakes but get back on the horse and don't smoke again. It will get easier. By the way , you have my surgery date, just a year later. Good Luck, Richard
Temeka,
Please just think of the "bruises" you got when you fell off the wagon (lowering your confidence, etc.) and remember, next time you are tempted, that you don't want to get bruised up again. And let that build you up with success!
I have heard that people who smoke need lots of Vitamin C - maybe you could take one today - ?
Don't beat yourself up anymore.
Take care,
Kitty B.
