Hi New here!

Hi everyone! My name is Starr and I am 30. I have been considering surgery for about 2 years now - and finally started doing stuff about it. (I first had to change insurance companies lol) I attended a seminar Wednesday night, yes even braved the snow/ice/snow/ice storm in Cleveland.... Hubby attended with me - and he is so excited. CCBS called and we set a consult appt for Tuesday. I called my insurance company and asked what would be required of me.. and uhh - they really did not want to tell me, I got a few things out of the guy - but that was about it - they wanted to speak to the doctors, not me... anyhooo Has anyone ever dealt with APWU High option insurance, Beech Street? I changed to them - because I know they do cover wls if medically nessasary, and with a BMI of 45, I would hope that is a medical nessesity lol. I am really in the baby step process - but wanted to introduce myself.. Hope you all have a good day - I am going to get myself to bed and get some sleep! ~Starr~

Hi Starr, Welcome to the Ohio Board. It isn't as active as the main board, but there are great people here and I'm sure you will find lots of support. It sounds like things are moving in the right direction for you and how wonderful that you have such great support from your husband.
